VA and DoD’s Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) for members of our armed services is a major initiative that will require a large force of benefits and revenue cycle experts to design, support, and implement the core programs associated with mobilizing health and benefit data exchange.

FCP has experience with the complexities of Bi-Directional Health Information Exchange (BHIE) or Data Access Service (DAS) and the health and benefit data sharing between the VA & DoD. Understanding the mission of the Nationwide Health Information Network (NwHIN), Warrior Support, and other key VLER initiatives will require significant involvement from benefits, authorization, and business analysis experts in over 95 benefit domains. Understanding the VA and DoD models of care and benefits/case management from a revenue perspective is crucial before to the success of the program. FCP is prepared to assist the VA and DoD with their revenue advisory and program support needs to deliver secure health information exchange to our armed services members and veterans.
