FCP Teaming with Freelinc on Seaport-e Contracts

First Choice Professionals, LLC (FCP) today announced that the Navy’s Seaport-e contracting office has approved FCP to participate as a subcontractor on the Seaport-e contract vehicle, under a Teaming Agreement with FreeLinc, to provide healthcare consulting services to the US Department of Defense. Under the Teaming Agreement FCP will focus its efforts on the Military Health System (MHS). FCP will extend to the DoD MHS its industry leading capabilities in:

  • Legacy system support and implementation
  • Web based application development and support
  • System Integration services
  • Customer Support Services

FCP, a well-known provider of healthcare consulting services, will augment the communication engineering services provided by FreeLinc. FCP has a history of providing value-based services to its growing list of prestigious commercial healthcare providers and will now extend those services to the DoD MHS.

Seaport-e is the Navy’s vehicle of choice for services procurement. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract enables FreeLinc, now complimented by FCP, to compete for service requirements solicited by Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, Defense Threat Reduction Agency and the United States Marine Corps, in the Southwest and National Capital Zones.

Mark Scherling Joins FCP to grow PMO and Siemens Practice

Phoenix, AZ, Feb 22, 2008 – First Choice Professionals, LLC., today announced the addition of Mark Scherling to its expanding Applications Services business unit. Mark will join FCP as Program Management Office and Siemens Practice Director.

Mark brings thirteen years of Healthcare IT thought leadership experience to FCP. Prior to joining FCP, Mark was responsible for the Management of systems support at Catholic Healthcare West. Prior to that responsibility, Mark spent 7 years in healthcare IT consultative roles as a Program Manager, implementation Director and as a clinical and financial systems analyst – working with numerous health care organizations across the US.

Bob Elrod Joins FCP as new CTO

Phoenix, AZ, Feb 21, 2007 – First Choice Professionals, LLC., today announced the addition of Bob Elrod to its expanding integration and technology force as the Chief Technology Officer.

Bob brings two decades of experience as a technologist and Healthcare IT thought leader to FCP. In one of his most-recent positions, he was vice president of Technology for Medicity, Inc., a provider of Web-based portal solutions, electronic health records, and community-wide patient indexing solutions for hospitals, payors and large physician groups. Prior to that post, Bob was chief technology officer and product architect for the iServices Division of Park City Solutions.
